Summer seems to go faster and faster every year! Here I am in August wondering where June went… is anyone with me? August to many young people and parents means back to school, and we are just a few weeks away from starting another year.
Going back to school will undoubtably look different this year. Many schools have taken precautions by suggesting facemasks, a hybrid model for smaller class sizes, and more. Checkout the link below if you would like to read the CDC’s suggested behaviors for yourself or your child at school.
With so many things on the minds of students, teachers, and administrators, don’t forget that back to school shopping can still be fun for you and/or your kids! Checkout the list below for back to school essentials and ideas. If you will be living in a dorm room this year, or just need some space-saving tips for your home/apartment, see if the ideas below are helpful. The classic school supplies like pens, pencils, notebooks, and folders are great to have on hand no matter what grade.
When space is tight, see if you can add storage in different places. An example of this is using an over the bed shelving unit for increased organization. This is a perfect place to put decorations, books, a lamp, and all those miscellaneous items you do not want to throw away.
Take advantage of the storage space under your bed, too. Using a set of bed risers lifts the bed higher off the ground, increasing the amount of storage that can fit underneath.
Desks can get cluttered quickly. This shelf stand helps keep books and items you want on your desk without taking up all your desk space.
A bedside caddy simply stays right on the side of your bed so that your necessities: phone, laptop, book, pen, paper and more can be easy to grab. Keep these items all in one place and easily accessible!
Going back to school brings mixed emotions, but we wish everyone a safe and healthy upcoming school year!
