Investment Criteria

Simpson Housing invests in Class A apartment communities in most major US markets with the following attributes:


Class A market rate communities

  • Less than 10 years old
  • Garden, mid-rise and high-rise
  • 150+ units
  • Suburban and urban.

Investment Structure

Simpson Housing has a long history of purchasing or investing in projects with a wide-range of complexity and unique attributes. Most of our transactions fit one of these categories:

  • Stable operating communities
  • Communities in lease-up
  • Pre-sale of communities under construction or in development
